Temporary Factory concept

Sustainable, digital and productive construction site

Kolme ihmistä seuraa kun auton perälavalta puretaan lastia työmaalla.

Our Temporary Factory concept is a comprehensive service in which an external operator is responsible for all support functions at the construction site. This allows the other project parties to focus on their core activities.

The service helps the customer to meet the growing safety and environmental requirements of construction sites. It has also been proven to increase site productivity.

The Temporary Factory service takes care of practically everything that leaves the site after the project has been completed. In addition to equipment rental and site services, the service includes things that cannot be seen but are particularly valuable to the customer – planning, logistics and project streamlining, as well as manageability through digital tools and BIM.

Site support functions account for up to 25% of the site’s turnover. Sensible planning and carefully considered site management can improve project productivity by up to five percent. And that five percent is powerful – for example, in a million-euro project, five extra percent means 50 thousand extra euros!

By your side from the very beginning

With the Temporary Factory service, you receive help in choosing the best implementation methods right at the beginning of the project. Planning assistance is offered more than usual, and the aim is to find the best possible solutions to the customer’s challenges even before the construction site is erected. The earlier operations are planned, the less unexpected costs arise. With careful planning, it is also possible to influence emissions during construction.

We help you focus on your core business by planning and maintaining temporary site operations. The centralisation of temporary ancillary activities also creates financial benefits for the project and improves risk management.

Developer feedback, Urban Escape

We had a huge project worth around 7 billion SEK, which we then divided into seven smaller projects with different contractors. All workers could use the same cranes with an optimised schedule. The scaffolds didn’t need to be transported as much because we planned ahead and moved them to where they were needed next. The fluctuation of people in different projects was easier to adjust. And we didn’t have to pay bonuses that cover the costs for using multiple suppliers. All projects shared expenses for rentals and maintenance for accommodation – the benefit of this was that we could coordinate and use these areas for all contractors. We have calculated that we saved around 4 % of total costs just by doing that.
