Self-erecting cranes

Self-erecting cranes are handy even on short-term projects, where quick erection, dismantling and moving of the crane is crucial to the choice of the crane. The size classes of Ramirent’s Potain and Terex self-erecting cranes range between 32–50 tonne/metres. All that is needed to secure the crane is firm, level ground. Self-erecting cranes have maximum load capacity of 4.0 t, and outreaches of up to 40 m, at which no more than 1.1 tonnes can be lifted.

Self-erecting cranes are provided on a site-specific basis and ready for use on site. Our experts will help you choose the right type of crane for your work site needs. Self-erecting cranes under 25 tm do not require a rated tower crane operator. The crane can be operated by a person familiar with the crane and with the written permission of the employer.
