Safe use of cranes and lifting accessories / 5–8 h
The training covers the legal responsibilities, obligations and hazards related to lifting work, the correct and safe use of cranes and lifting accessories, the safe use of the radio controller, the inspection of lifting accessories by the operator and the grounds for its rejection. If necessary, the length of the day can be adjusted according to the situation.
Use and inspection of lifting accessories / 4 h
The training covers lifting accessories and their use. Lifting accessories must be subject to inspections prescribed by regulations. This training covers the responsibilities and obligations of the inspector, the inspection of lifting accessories and the grounds for rejection. The training also includes practical training.
Lifting planner and supervisor / 1 day
The aim of the training is to provide basic information about the employer’s responsibilities when working as a lifting manager, supervisor or planner. The training is based on standard SFS-ISO 23813, where applicable, including a review of the responsibilities and obligations that apply to different parties in accordance with regulations. In addition, the training covers the types and structures of cranes, the hazards related to lifting work and the foreseeable issues in the planning of lifting work. The training involves practicing planning lifting work and drawing up a written lifting work plan through practical exercises.
Subordinate training (load-securing and signaller training) / 4 h
The training covers the legal responsibilities, obligations and dangers of the subordinate related to lifting work, the correct use of lifting accessories and securing the load, the inspection of lifting accessories by the user and the grounds for its rejection and acting as a signaller. The training also includes an inspection exercise for lifting accessories. Where applicable, the training is based on the ISO 23853 standard and it is suitable as a basis for written permission granted by the employer to work as a subordinate.
